Serial Comma

This is a utility template that uses its first parameter, {{{1}}}, to decide what to put between two items in an English list. The parameter {{{1}}} should be the second-to-next list item if there is one, otherwise it should be blank. If the parameter is non-blank, this template returns a comma followed by a space, because the next list item isn't the end of the list. If the parameter is blank, this template returns, minimally, a space followed by the word "and" and then another space. An optional second parameter is put before the space-"and"-space; it's assumed that, if provided, this second parameter will be a comma (technically, a serial comma). Note that serial commas are not usually used for a list of only two items, so even if this second parameter is used between later items of a list, it probably won't be wanted between the first and second items of the list.

It's assumed that the first parameter will always be provided, even if it is blank (i.e., for blank one writes {{sc|}} rather than {{sc}} ).

For an example of how to use this, see {{وظیفه}}.
